US fee posts often stop at Lemon Squeezy’s headline 5% + $0.50. That tape is not first cash, and it is not a confirmed rate on a product under $10. This page restates Lemon Squeezy’s “Getting paid” and “Fees” help pages as fetched 22 September 2026. It is not tax, legal, or accounting advice. Lemon Squeezy’s getting-paid page: payouts are created twice monthly on the 1st and 15th of the month and include all sales since the last payout. Net sales are held for 13 days before becoming available for payout on the 14th and 28th of the month. Payouts can take 1-5 days to appear in your bank account.
The same page’s example: a sale on the 4th of the month is included in the payout created on the 15th, and paid out on the 28th. That is later than a platform that deposits at purchase.
Lemon Squeezy’s getting-paid page publishes a minimum payout threshold of $50. If your upcoming payout does not meet that threshold it remains “Pending” and is rolled over to the next payout cycle. The same paragraph says this happens each week until the upcoming payout meets the required threshold. The schedule section of that page still says payouts are created on the 1st and 15th and paid on the 14th and 28th, so “each week” is not a weekly deposit. A single sale that nets under $50 therefore sits. Recheck the page; this guide does not invent a Canada-specific floor.
Bank payouts are made in USD. For a bank payout to a currency other than USD, Lemon Squeezy converts the total to the chosen currency using the mid-market exchange rate at the time of payout. PayPal payouts are always in USD. Connecting a bank account may include identity verification for fraud prevention. PayPal payouts require a verified PayPal account.
Lemon Squeezy’s fees page then lists payout fees on top of the platform fee: bank payouts via Stripe are free for US bank accounts and 1% per payout for bank accounts outside the US. PayPal payouts are $0.50 per payout in the US and 3% capped at $30 per payout for accounts outside the US. A Canadian bank account is not a US bank account on that table.
Lemon Squeezy’s fees page tells sellers of products lower than $10 to contact sales for custom pricing. This page does not invent a take-home on that unpublished rate. International (outside the US) card payments add 1.5% to the platform fee on the published table; PayPal transactions add 1.5%; subscriptions add 0.5%. Those add-ons still sit on top of a rate that is not confirmed under $10.
